19 and still counting

Still the young remains alive in me
Wondering what’s next, lying under a tree.
Feels refreshing to taste the sweet afternoon tea,
Then dreaming about the Caribbean sea.

Still watch the stars at night,
As I forget about my fear of height.
All the rushing sounds around me,
Yet I remain calm and quiet.

Still 19 and have a lot to see,
Haven’t grown up completely.
Yesterday I was just a kid,
I remember all the wrong things I did.

Still there are endless possibilities,
If only we believe in our own abilities.
The melancholic melodies are so soothing,
As it reminds us of the things we have lost and losing.

We die..

We lie.

We cry.

We live.

We die.

We love.

We laugh.

We hate.

We die.

We say good bye.

We appreciate.

We crucify.

We die.

We hide.

We fail.

We qualify.

We die.

We sleep.

We dream.

We achieve.

We die.

Ultimate downfall

Sometimes a person feels that they have done a lot in their life.

They think a few achievements here and there have earned them the right to act arrogant and the world must bow down before them.

In reality, they attract nothing but a lot of hate.

While confidence is the key to take further positive steps in life, people must be aware that over confidence will do more harm than good.

Over confidence destroys the ability to learn new things. It stops people to expand their horizons.

Always remember to stay on the ground.

Over confidence will be your ultimate downfall.

Innocence!

I thought that they were innocent.
Arguments, fights, and frustration caused dissonance.
Our relationship was innocent I used to think.
Our minds were sharp, crossing limitations of imagination.
Back then I remember, we were also quite vigilant.

Memories I have of the past but now I don’t want to keep them.
Stay away from me please, leave me alone now please.
As I say, you give a glare, we all at each other stare, our eyes meet, but we don’t really care.

I know, as a matter of fact what you’re thinking.
I hear you say “Why aren’t you blinking”?
Memories takes me back to the past as I look into your eyes.
Reminded me of all the sorrow, dejection and those cries

.
You’re not important, you aren’t that worthy of having me.
All the gifts I gave you, respecting them you were thanking me.
Separate ways are there for us, a fresh new start is waiting for us.
Never ever look back and think about me.
As soon as you see, I’ll fade away and you’ll not be able to see me.

Uncommon the Common: Judgement!

People often tends to tell you about that how much they hate it whenever someone judges them, no one truly wants to know about themselves from other’s point of view and rightly so as it does not necessarily gives a clear reflection of one’s personality. So it can be concluded that most of the people(almost everyone) never likes it when a person tells them about themselves. On the other side of the coin, it is a fact that every single individual living on this planet judge the other person at one point of time and generally we do that to other people everyday. The truth is we all judge people whether we like it or not we’ll always get judged by somebody. Sometimes you can judge people without even realising it like how you’re right now judging the writer of this discussion, either in a positive way or in a negative way. That is not my business, right? The last line I said is a typical response of a person when s/he gets judged by the other person, is that true? I know it’s true because I’ve heard that “none of my business” thing thousand times till now and that is quite a good way to respond to any kind of judgement so no argument on that.

In this article, I am going to list down 3 reasons why should everyone stop judging each other. So you need to read this —

Fully aware? – Do you  think you know everything about that person? We often

base our impression of a person by sometimes even just by glancing at them. You

must’ve heard that phrase also “First impression is the last impression”. I think

that is not true for everything especially while talking about a human being

because you know people constantly changes so you can never really tell about

their personality in few meetings.

You’re also Imperfect – Come on! you know it. Everyone else knows it. You’re not perfect and no one actually is. Even the most intellectual or philosophical person that has ever lived or is still living is not perfect in everything so you got to keep in mind that other people are not perfect either. All of us have drawbacks just live with it dude.

♦Everyone has their opinions – yes, there are millions of people other than you and all can have their point of views. You may not like something but that doesn’t mean everyone else also don’t like it. It goes with everything in the world. Few people like this and that, few dislike this and that so really if you dislike something why not just ignore it? It will save your time and everyone else’s as well.

So I tried to keep it short and simple. I just listed out these 3 points but there are hundreds of points about it if you really start to discuss it on a deeper level. I hope you’d also become a better person everyday and try not to judge the people around you so much. Judging just creates controversies most of the times so why not avoid it for at least your own sake? Good day and have a healthy life.

1-    Focus on your own work – The first and the foremost trick is to focusing on your own work. Most of the times, we are busy in looking out what others are doing and that leads to affect our work. Due to consistently concentrating on other’s work, we forget about ourselves and that can be one of the reasons for your sleepless nights.

2-   Avoid negative people  –  Now this is another very important factor of staying calm. Your surroundings affect you much more than you could imagine. Sometimes people don’t even realise the fact that they are in the wrong group. Try to have friends which encourage you to do various tasks. If your friends keeps putting you down then you know it’s time for a change and you need new friends.

3-  Exercise – Not only this will provide you with immense strength and stamina but it will also generate positive thoughts inside your brain. So do workout to keep yourself mentally and physically active.

4-  Time management –  Do you know if you manage your time properly then you could do most of the things which you want to but can’t do due to “lack of time”. Managing your time is a great way to prioritize things and ticking them one by one until you have made the best use of your precious 24 hours of a day. There will be hardly any stress once you do things which you have had wanted to do for so long.

5-  Meditation – Believe it or not but meditation is the topmost and the easiest way to keep your head cool. The best part is that, you can do it anywhere and at anytime. At first, it seems difficult but as you practice it everyday you will surely become better and you will be in a completely different mind space as the time progresses.

These were the few important factors which we all should apply on our lives. It seems difficult but once you are able to apply them, you can surely be in a different mind space and the people will be astonished to see such changes in your personality.
